Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times): Protests were staged across the district against the blasphemy of the Prophet Muhammad by the leader of the Indian ruling party. Protests were staged by Jamaat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan, Islamic Education Institute, Anjuman-e-Talaba-e-Islam, Minhaj-ul-Quran International and other organizations.
While in Friday’s speeches, the scholars also passed resolutions against India. Allama Mufti Habib-ur-Rehman, Khatib of Jamia Masjid Malik Riaz Hussain, said on the occasion that insults by non-Muslims were being carried out under organized conspiracy. The Islamic world will have to take concrete steps, not temporary, to prevent this.
