Women rights basically refers to the equality provided to women Particularly discussing about rights of women in our country Pakistan somehow feels disappointing because if we recall the violence cases related to women shown on social media on daily basis , we all must agree that there is no any investigation either by police department or by government. In my opinion every culprit here has a mindset that he/she will not be given any punishment by the government ( doesn’t matter what the crime is ) so this enhances the boldness and dirt in the minds of culprits. Most importantly : according to google , Pakistan is 6th most dangerous country in terms of domestic violence.I personally blame govt for these crimes as it doesn’t take it serious and such cases keep increasin in number, no any country can be run without management and every crime should have its particular punishment in order to scare the culprit even before thinking of attempting the crime.Besides rape cases , there are many other factors that results in killings and murders of women in the country. Even todays daughters have become a question mark on the honour of their father. The case of social media activist Qandeel Baloch who was strangled by her brother for the sake of family honour is not difficult to recall for our generation as I myself heard the noises on news channels shouting for the justice , but the thing is : those noises were only for a couple of weeks and then all the news channels+government kept silent and this case was also buried just like all other violence cases.Where do all the voices go then ? Pakistan as an Islamic Republic should set the priority to make a peaceful platform for women as well as every other individual in the state otherwise results would be same ( poor and shameful ). Apart from the domestic violence , I consider Pakistan as a fair state in providing all the opportunities to the residents including men and women. women are been given some specific amount of seats in every firm and this is really appreciable as Islam also ask everyone to give honour and respect to women.
