Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : Rawalpindi Traffic Police launched a full-fledged operation for one-way violation. 55 challans closed in 7 police stations for violating one way while licenses of 2 suspended. Citizens risk their lives and the lives of others for a few seconds. Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad appreciated the performance of Circle Murree Road. The CTO also directed all the circle and sector in-charges to deploy additional wardens at the places where they would take strict and indiscriminate action against the violators of the one-way. The CTO directed that along with the challan, the licenses of the violators should also be suspended. Because the major cause of accidents and traffic jams on highways is the violation of one-way by citizens.
