Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi sworn in as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan in a simple ceremony held at the Presidency on Saturday, August 18, 2018.The ceremony, which scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., began after 10 p.m. Other notable guests included senior PTI leader, cricketer-turned-observer Rameez Raja, newly elected Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, singers Salman Ahmed and Abrar-ul-Haq, actor Javed Sheikh and former National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza. After coming to power, his government faced many challenges. When Imran Khan came to power, he took time to understand the problems. After coming to power, he spent 20 days forming the government. Because his government was weak, it needed the support of allies. After forming the government, he faced many challenges as he was elected for the first time so he has no special experience to govern. Relations between the government and the bureaucracy have not been good since the beginning of the PTI government. Tensions have escalated over time. Many times the Prime Minister also says this indirectly. The government transferred several top bureaucrats, including the chief secretary. The government’s view was that the bureaucracy was pursuing a slow policy. Several bureaucrats complained to the prime minister about the behavior of the national and provincial ministers and blamed the NAB for illegal trailing and harassment. Until 18 months, he had not yet received correct data of power and energy department. His cabinet failed to work with the bureaucracy. Because they insist on bureaucracy for work. These were Corona’s days, and they affected everyone. The bureaucracy was working hard but the government was putting more pressure on them. As a result, the bureaucracy was outraged by the harsh and immoral attitude of the PTI minister. Political parties and the government have a special research wing in the world, which informs the government about the important issues of the country and gives solutions to them but unfortunately, this is not the case in Pakistan nor in the PTI government. The biggest problem of governance in Pakistan is the lack of accurate statistics and policymaking and the policy being put into practice.
