Arrangements in connection with wheat procurement campaign in full swing
SAHIWAL,(Bureau report): District Food Controller Sahiwal Ali Imran Sahi has said that the Punjab government has announced an open policy for procurement of wheat and also fixed the subsidy price of wheat at Rs. Wheat production will also increase. Ali Imran Sahi said that 20 wheat procurement centers have been set up in the district where all facilities have been provided to the farmers and best arrangements have been made for seating. Complaints of any kind will not be tolerated at the wheat procurement center. Strict action will be taken against any official if any complaint is received. Food department staff is present at the centers to guide the farmers. Bardana has also been launched. Our target is close to 1.5 million tons which we will meet inshallah.
