    Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan to instruct tourism, police and administration departments of AJK

    Islamabad,  (Parliament Times) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) president and most senior minister as well as minister for tourism Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that a large number of tourists were heading to AJK during the holy month of Ramadan. He issued instructions to the tourism, district administration and other departments to provide full facilities to the tourists. The most senior minister said that the roads should be kept open for the tourists coming from outside and the roads damaged by the rains should be repaired. He further instructed tourism and police departments to welcome tourists and ensure safety measures to avoid any untoward incident.

    “All the tourists should be guided at the tourist information centres within the limits of Azad Kashmir, all public and private guests’ houses should be kept open and tourists should be kept open. Complaints and suggestions boxes should be kept at various places, quick response force of tourism police should take immediate action on complaints or suggestions,” the most senior minister said.

    Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan further stated that plans announced for tourism in Azad Kashmir will be implemented by the provision of facilities for the tourists adding that the valleys of AJK surrounded by high mountains and greenery, host millions of tourists every year. He also said that PTI’s government would provide maximum facilities to the tourists after which the domestic tourists would not feel the need to go abroad and foreign tourists would also flock to this region, which is known to the world as a paradise.
