Holy Quran is the greatest literary masterpiece of all time: AJK PM

Islamabad/ MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : Terming the Holy Quran as the greatest literary masterpiece of all time, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that the Quran is the biggest miracle that will continue to be a source of guidance for humanity till the end of the world.
The AJK PM made these remarks while addressing a book launching ceremony at a local hotel in Islamabad on Monday. The author of the book Ms. Maida Affan, Director General Kashmir Liberation Cell Ershad Mahmud, Sardar Amjad Jalil, and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the PM said that Quran is the greatest literary masterpiece revealed on prophet Hazarat Muhammad (SAW) in the world. Referring to the eloquence and sanctity of the holy Quran the PM said, “After the revelation of the Qur’an, even the learned poets of the Prophet’s time cried out that it (Quran) could not be the word of any human being. Prime Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that despite the passage of centuries, the holy book remained to be the most read book in the world today. “Even today, thousands of people convert to Islam every year after reading this book of guidance”, the PM said.
Speaking on the occasion Maida Affan, the author of the book, stressed the need for understanding the essence and true spirit of the Quran. Speakers on the occasion termed the book as a remarkable addition to literature and expressed hope that the book would be well received in the academic circles.
