Ramazan Rashan Distribution function holds in Anjuman Faizul Islam


Rawalpindi, (PRESS RELEASE), (Parliament Times) :Former Federal Secretary Muzaffar Qureshi has said that the best of all mankind to ever walk the earth is no one except our dear Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) who is the mercy not only by his name but his all deeds are also mercy. We should help the weak and helpless people of the society by following the teachings and practical teachings of the Holy Prophet.

He expressed these views while addressing the Ramazan Rashan Distribution function held here under the auspices of Jinnah Iqbal South Asian Pulse Forum (JISAF) in Anjuman Faizul Islam. More than 400 deserving families were given one month rashan as a gift to consume during the Holy month of Ramazan. Among others, the chairman of JISAF Rana Abdul Baqi, Former Senior World Bank Economic Advisor Fateh Muhammad Chaudhry, President Anjuman Prof. Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Dr. Mazhar Qayyum, Commodore (R) Shahid Nawaz, Dr. Sabahat, Arsalan Akbar Abbasi Advocate, office bearers of JISAF and a large number of deservings were present.

Muzaffar Qureshi while paying tribute to Jinnah Iqbal Forum and Anjuman-e-Faiz-ul-Islam especially Rana Abdul Baqi said that if anyone is making the intellectual guidance of Jinnah and Iqbal a beacon then it is Jinnah Iqbal Forum and Anjuman-e-Faiz-ul-Islam.

JISAF chairman Rana Abdul Baqi in his speech said that we have been commanded in the Holy Qur’an to give alms both openly and secretly. The purpose of this event is to motivate other people so that they can be willing to help the white people and the poor. “Ration distribution ceremony is organized in Anjuman-e-Faiz-ul-Islam because this institution was also established on the behest of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and our forum also works for social welfare under the intellectual guidance of Jinnah and Iqbal”, he added. He also announced to dedicate the rashan distribution ceremony in the name of Quran e Pak and the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Fateh Mohammad Chaudhry, a former senior economic adviser of the World Bank, described Islam’s economic system as a system of perfection in which the poor were given a share from the wealth of the rich. Prof. Dr. Riaz Ahmed in his speech highlighted the personality and character of Umm Al-Muminin Hazrat Khadija and asked the women to make the life of Hazrat Khadija their role model. Dr. Mazhar Qayyum, Commodore (R) Shahid Nawaz, Dr. Sabahat and Arsalan Akbar Abbasi also spoke on the occasion.

Later on the guests distributed Ramazan rashan gifts to the deserving families.
