    Pasban-e-Hurriyat pays homage to martyrs of Shopian & Anantnag

    Muzaffarabad: Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that The nation will always remember the everlasting struggle of the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) from Indian colonialism.

    In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that the world has witnessed that Kashmiris are fighting the toughest war in history against an enemy of thousands times bigger than themselves.

    While paying homage to the 16 youngsters who were martyred by Indian forces on April 1, 2018 in Shopian and Anantnag areas of IIOJ&K, he said that Kashmiri youngsters had laid their lives for just freedom movement.

    He maintained that history will always remember the Kashmiri youth resistance movement against the 900,000 armed Indian forces.

    Ghazali lamented that the usurping and cruel Indian forces have targeted the civilians with bullets, pellet guns and tear gas shells but their determination for freedom movement remianed persistent.

    He added that Kashmiri people have been fighting for their independence, right to self-determination and justice for last 74 years.

    Uzair reiterated that the Kashmiri people would continue their struggle till independence while protecting the sacred blood of the martyrs.
