Naseebullah Khan
While reading histories throughout the world of different dynesties, rulers and the common people__ it reveals that atrocities have never been the solution. Whereas, the hearts of the people could only be bought through peaceful means and socioeconomic development, justice, equality, liberty, freedom, tolerance, and fraternity.Afghanistan has a rich hostory of resistance of thousands of years. Many intruders came but went back and could not subjugate the nation by use of force even the great warrior Alexander the great failed to do so. The recent history of British shows that it fought three war with the Afghans with its full might but their dream of subjugating remained a dream. The British remained in India for hundreds of years and poured billions of pound on military might here. It used its Satanic tactics of divide and rule and left no stone untunred thorough its brutalities and enactment of acts to supress the people but all in vain. It is estimated that as per Khan Abdul Qayum Khan observation in his book Gold and gun that the british sent 26 expeditions to the Pashtun tribal region from 1902 to 1937 against the Pashtun rebels who had stood against the British imperialism. But the British failed to supress them. Whether it was the succession act, Rowlett act, or its brutal tactics such as the British applied in Jalianwalla Bagh, to create fear among the masses____ the people of India stood firm. The more the British used atrocities, the more the people of India came with harder measures. When Hitler used its barbarism against the Jews and Mussolini agaisnt its opponents, the hatred increased with a rapid speed. For a while, they succeeded to supress their voices, but in a long run they failed to subjugate the nations. Consequently, their names have been written as the crulest men of human history. Both fascists have been the part of their shameless atrocities in the history of the world. When we read the history of thirteen American colonies of the British and Ireland and their war of independence the reality reveals that the British used its utmost repression and repressive acts to stop people from getting freedom and independence but all proved worthless. We witnessed the US brutalities in Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan even across the world. At the end, they never won the hearts of the people through force and had to leave the countries in humiliation. Indian atrocities in Kashmir and Israeli barbarism in Palastine since decades have failed to stop the voices of the people and their determination for their rights despite the use of immsense power.Hearts can only be won through love, respect, and ensuring fundamental rights of the people. When ot comes to own people of a country, the responsibility of the rulers and policy makers increases to unite their own souls and never let them alienate through deprivation, reservations, and barbarous tacts.
