Many people in our society consider English language a very very precious thing in their lives. They always respect the people who know how to speak it in their communities and don’t value those who can’t speak it. Even if a common person can speak this language, he is respected like a king. Sadly, lot of Pakistani expats even avoid speaking Urdu when they come to Pakistan and all the family members speak it with each other. Many feel shy speaking their language which is a complete sign of slavery. To this a quotation goes well, “if you feel shy speaking your mother language, you should learn that you are mentally slave”. Unfortunately, number of Pakistanis are victim of it at a large scale. Moreover, this love of English is finishing our interest in our own national and regional languages because people thinks this langauge is everything and their own languages have no value in the world. This trend is not only effecting our langauges but also eliminating our identity. They never understand that language is just a language, no matter be it is Urdu or English. These are only our achievements which elavate our status in the world. If we acquire great achievements in our lives and make rich our literature rich, one day all the world will follow us. And this is what Englishiaries did. Additionally, instead of being the puppet of English, we should try to invent new invention and we should also work to promote our langauges. Otherwise, we will always be what we have been for centuries and we will gain what we have been gaining for centuries. It is high time to open your eyes and be your own. Therefore, it is suggested respect your langauge, be your own, don’t follow others and work for yourself.
