ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said game has gone out of the hands of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and the government is running on the crutches.
“the government which came through unconstitutional ways will go through constitutional ways. Government is not summoning parliament session because no trust motion against it will come. The government which had come while chanting the slogans of Ehtesab has turned into the ever worst corrupt government. Chairman NAB is serving on daily wages. The no trust motions are not advertised. When they gather then they will come to open”, he said this while talking to media men here Tuesday outside the Accountability Court (AC).
Citing to PM announcement for reduction in prices of petrol and electricity he said a day before PM took another U-turn as he decreased prices of petrol by Rs 10 per liter but government will increase the price of petroleum products by Rs 20 per liter.
PM earlier said that petroleum products prices are going up in international market, therefore, he is scaling up the prices for this reason. When NEPRA fixes the tariff of electricity then it says it has to be raised Rs 6 per unit. Government is slashing the tariff of the electricity by Rs 5 per unit.
If the government was to curb the inflation then they should have slashed the prices of atta, ghee and sugar, he remarked.
Imran Khan is now seeing his last days in the government are approaching fast. He is trying to earn false sympathies.
He claimed government is not summoning the session of parliament because the no trust motion will come. Government will soon go home because it has come unconstitutionally.
The SAPMS Should provide the details of their assets so that they could be held accountable, he underlined. Ministers and advisors have proved corrupt. The time is not far off when they all will be standing in the dock.
Government wants to complete its tenure but the people will not allow it to do so, he added.
We have been saying from the very first day they should register cases against us and tell the people about it on TV. Chairman NAB should tell before the cameras what are the cases. We will too give reply before cameras,
To a question regarding PML-Q, he said they to decide themselves if they have to side with rulers or people.
