There always been a mentor who has the ability to transform the culture and thoughts of the people and leads them towards achievements. Societies often face difficulties to discover such souls but if succeed to discover the previous, they change the destiny of the society. They act as the real game changers in the society. Bob Proctor said; “A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.” Giving awareness to youth is the best blessing for them as awareness provides them power of self-recognition and strengths. People of rural areas often impotent from the opportunities and techniques of success. Due to this reason such societies surplus the hidden bent of the youth. A mentor in such societies brings revolutionary changes among the thoughts of the people and transforms the society. Years ago, people of Dhirkot were unaware from the word competition. Dhirkot is a small town located in district Bagh of AJK. Mr. Ismail introduced the environment of competition in this small town, now everyone can feel the outcomes of his initiatives. Lt. Col. (R) M. Ismail Khan is a gem of Dhirkot. He has a lot of contributions in bringing an educational reform in Dhirkot. He was born in Narwal tehsil dhirkot, got his early education from a government school later he joined Pakistan Army as an officer. He served in this prestigious institute with honor and dignity. This institute showed a revolutionary change under his leadership and in a very short time the institute become one of the best institutes of Azad Kashmir region. All the credit goes to him.A lot of students got success and excel in life under his guidance and leadership. Students of this institute are currently serving in multiple sector of the country as doctors, engineers, professors, armed force officers, academic researchers, social workers, media persons and successful businessman. Being his student, I always feel proud as he is my mentor who gave me self-recognition and guidance. Mr. Ismail is the real motivation for hundreds of successful souls of the area. His enthusiasm, loyalty with profession and equity was exceptional. He always gave equal opportunities to all the students to show their talent and to excel in life.
