Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani meets AJK President
ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : The Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani has said that the Pakistan Senate is continuing its efforts for securing the right of self determination of the Kashmiri people and taking various steps in this regard.
He expressed these views during meeting with The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry here on Monday.
He said they are trying to convene a meeting of the Senate of Pakistan on 5th of February in Muzaffarabad to send a clear message of solidarity to the people of Occupied Kashmir .
He said the people of occupied Kashmir have been continuing their heroic struggle in the presence of 900,000 Indian troops to achieve their agreed right to self determination.
The President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry speaking on the occasion stressed the need that all the institutions of Pakistan should unite and show solidarity with the Kashmiri people. The President said that we have to intensify our efforts to raise the issue of Kashmir aggressively at the international level and added that although we have shown solidarity with the Kashmiri people at every opportunity but now we have to play our role more effectively.
The President, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry thanked Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani and members of the Senate for expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people .The President also expressed condolences to Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani on the sudden death of his brother.
