Lahore,(Parliament Times):Special Assistant Chief Minister Punjab Hassan Khawar while talking to media on the occasion of signing MoU between Tourism Department and Punjab Institute of Mental Health said that on the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab, tourist bus for mentally handicapped persons would be provided. A free tour is being arranged. He said that the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar was to bring all sections of the society together and special emphasis has been laid to provide equal opportunities of development to all sections in the entire Punjab. He said that an agreement has been signed between the tourism department and the Punjab Institute of Mental Health in this regard. The residents of Punjab Institute of Mental Health will be provided free tour of historical places twice a month exclusively by double decker bus. Hassan Khawar said that in this regard, the tourism department has the support of the private sector, especially KFC, which will arrange catering for the tourists of this special tour. Hassan Khawar further said that these tourist buses are receiving excellent feedback from the tourists which is being introduced in other cities of Punjab after Lahore, Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur. He said that a total of four single and nine double decker buses are being brought soon to increase the number of tourist buses for the benefit of maximum number of citizens. On the occasion, he expressed interest in launching a special series of entertainment for the mentally handicapped. Asad Faiz Ullah Chairman TDCP Sohail Zafar Cheema, GM Asim Raza and Information Secretary Raja Jahangir and all others concerns said that this initiative is a vital and will brings happiness among the mentally retorted persons. Mr Hasaan said that the residents of Punjab Institute of Mental Health are the people who have been forgotten by their families and in such a situation we all have to take care of them together. Hassan Khawar said that Punjab government is introducing special services for the middle class. The government is advancing this journey of service through labor cards, health cards and other such measures. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had promised that facilities for tourists would also be improved with the help of private sector. In this regard, 20 out of 29 rest houses have been outsourced while other rest houses will soon be handed over to the private sector for providing quality services. Talking to media, Hassan Khawar further said that there was no talk of Deal with PML-N. There is no deal with the criminals of the nation. The PTI is not a bargaining chip. Those who are dreaming of a deal or a relaxation, stop dreaming. He said that the situation of the opposition was such that it could not do anything inside or outside the parliament. They can do nothing in action or in words. Hassan Khawar said that there are people in the opposition who know the difference between good and bad and they know which laws are good for this country and they decide for it according to their conscience. Replying to a question, Hassan Khawar said that proposals were being considered to make Basant and other festivals safer and bring happiness to the nation. Final decisions will be made soon. Replying to a question regarding Rouda, Hassan Khawar said that the decisions of the courts are respectable for us. All government strategies regarding Rouda will be within the ambit of law.
