The new variant Omicron is becoming a threat to healthcare system of underdeveloped country’s like Pakistan. The WHO said that Omicron Variant will disrupt the economy of countries that are trying to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Similarly, the health system of Pakistan is being affected by Omicron Variant. According to NCOC it has done quite well on the vaccination fron. The target of vaccinating 70 million people has been achieved to a great extent as 68.5 million people have been fully vaccinated. Ad a matter of fact, it is my humble request to the concerned authorities to take immediate action and find solutions as well for the preventions of this spreading Variant public must follow SOPs related to COVID-19.
