ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Times) : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to the parties against the appointment of Sardar Khurshid to the post of principal of Palandri Cadet College, declaring the writ petition admissible. A writ petition filed by a senior professor of Cadet College has stated that the initial appointment of Principal Sardar Khurshid Khan, who is trying to extend his tenure, is fake and illegal. According to the Cadet College Palandri Rules, only a person with at least a master’s degree and at least 15 years of teaching experience will be considered eligible for the post. But the current principal has 15 years of teaching experience and he does not even have 15 days of experience. In order to reward Sardar Khurshid, an advertisement was issued by amending the rules illegally in the previous government. However, it is up to the Board of Governors to amend the rules. Despite this, Sardar Khurshid did not meet the required qualifications, but a very influential minister of the government was advertised three times in Ashirbad and then his appointment became possible. As well as being against the constitution and law, morality was also removed. Cadet College Palandri Senior Professor Shabbir Shahid has challenged the appointment of the principal in the court and has taken a stand that Sardar Khurshid Khan was rewarded by issuing advertisements several times in the college day with illegal modification to reward him illegally. This deprives him and his other colleagues of the right to meet the principal’s requirements. Therefore, the appointment of a qualified person should be implemented by canceling the appointment of Principal Sardar Khurshid from the very beginning and depositing the salary back in the public treasury. The court while approving the writ has issued notices to the parties.
