Quetta,(Parliament Times): A meeting of the Officers Association of Industries and Commerce was held in which test interviews were held on the recent vacancies in which the officials, considering the violation of merit and quota system, said that the Industries Department had dispersed 60% of the vacancies from their district. By proving that no recruitment in the department will be done on the basis of merit while it should be noted that those posts will be of open merit, they will also be filled from Loralai district. Consultant Industries has kept the department afloat for the last three years. All the good vehicles of the department are in use which is affecting the work of all the field officers and the officers who have served till date. We appeal to all the officers of Chief Secretary Tri Balochistan to stop all the recruitments in the department and re-recruit on merit basis and return the vehicle to the department by taking the vehicle from the former officers so that the work can be done in a better manner.
