On Tuesday the Islamabad High Court dismissed the petition which was filed by a citizen, seeking to declare PM Imran Khan as ineligible for membership of the National Assembly. Fidaullah, who was the petitioner, maintained in a plea that PM Imran Khan reported during senate election that 16 members of the National Assembly were sold and the Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed confirmed the premier’s statement, saying that no action can be taken against MNA.Moreover, during the hearing, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah pointed the petitioner to ask an MNA from his constituency to file a petition like this.
