5 succumbed to COVID-19, 1085 tested positive during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD:   As many as 5 deaths occurred due to novel coronavirus while 1085 persons tested positive during the last 24 hours in the country.

According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) statistics 46585 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours of which 1,085 persons tested positive .

Tally of positive cases has soared to 1,299,848.Positivity ratio stands at 2.32 percent.

As per province wise details, 484,226 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 446,300 in Punjab 181,573 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,984 in Islamabad, 34,682 in Azad Kashmir 33,654 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far.

With 5 current deaths tally of fatalities has surged to 28955 in the country.

As per NCOC data till now 13,076 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,676 in Sindh 5,938 in KP, 967 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 366 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.

The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 2.32 percent.
160,651,005 doses have been administered so far in the country.
1,257,847 patients have recovered while 636 patients are reported to be in critical condition.
