Indian atrocities are exposed across world, Pakistan to continue support Kashmir: Governor

Lahore: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that Pakistan and Kashmir are incomplete without each other. Kashmiris are sacrificing their lives to save the lifeblood of Pakistan. We cannot distance ourselves from the people of Kashmir for a single moment. Narendra Modi is the killer of innocent Kashmiris. Prime Minister Imran Khan has emerged as the ambassador of Kashmir. We are exposing the atrocities of India against Kashmiri people all over the world.He was addressing the commemorative coin issuance ceremony on the 100th anniversary of the University of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday and was talking to the media. The Vice Chancellor University of Engineering and Technology Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar and others were also present on this occasion.Addressing the ceremony, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar congratulated the Vice-Chancellor and all other officials, staff and students of the University on the centuary of the University of Engineering and Technology and said that we are ensuring transparency and merit in the universities. All the Vice Chancellors who have been appointed in the universities so far are 100% on merit and Vice Chancellors have been given strict measures to ensure merit and transparency in the universities. There is no doubt that the due to the strict policies about merit and transparency, today the universities of Punjab are leading in the world rankings. The present government has decided from day one that the institutions will be made free from political interference.Talking to media, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan has truly worked for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and it is also true that Pakistan is still facing many challenges. There is a need for unity and solidarity in Pakistan to deal with the challenges, for which all sections of the society, including political and religious parties should go beyond political interests. Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar while referring to Self Determination Day of the Kashmiris said that terrorist Indian forces are committing genocide of innocent Kashmiris and there is no such thing as human rights in Kashmir. The time has come for the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with its resolutions instead of remaining silent on the atrocities being perpetrated on Kashmiris and to liberate the Kashmiris from Indian atrocities and give them the freedom that Kashmiris deserve. Pakistan stands united with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters and will not only raise its voice at every forum for the solution of Kashmir issue and we will not shy away from any sacrifice in this regard.The Vice Chancellor, University of Engineering and Technology Prof. Syed Mansoor Sarwar said that it is our utmost priority to provide maximum facilities to our students at the university and we are providing education as per the international standards.
