Corona SOPs announced for PSL 7



Islamabad :   The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management has announced Corona-precautionary SOPs for 7th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to sources, out of the 20-member squad under SOPs, a twelve member squad will be required for the match. Therefore, the match will be possible even if the Covid-19 test of 8 players in the squad is positive. The match will not be played if the 9 players of either team test positive for coronavirus.
Sources said that during the PSL, it has been proposed to have 25 to 30 additional players in the hotel’s Secure Bubble.
If a player gets Corona positive, he will be isolated for 10 days. Two teams will travel at a time on chartered flights between Karachi and Lahore.

According to sources, each team will select two more players in the supplementary draft on Thursday and Friday. South African players will also be available for the entire tournament in the PSL.

Remember that the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League will start on January 27. 15 matches of the tournament will be played in Karachi and 19 matches in Lahore.

The first match will be played at the National Stadium Karachi between defending champions Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings.
