5 succumbed to COVID-19, 898 tested positive during last 24 hours



ISLAMABAD:   As many as 5 people lost lives while 898 tested positive during the last 24 hours in the country.

As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 49673 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours of which 898 returned positive taking the tally of positive cases to 1,298,763

The positivity ratio stands at 1.8 percent.

According to province wise detail 483,648 coronavirus cases have been reported in Sindh, 445,940 in Punjab 181,537 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,880 in Islamabad, 34,676 in Azad Kashmir 33,653 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far. .

With five fatalities during the last 24 hours the tally of deaths has climbed to 28950.

In accordance with NCOC statistics 13,076 people have succumbed to corona virus in Punjab, 7,675 in Sindh 5,935 in KP, 967 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 365 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB so far.

159,900,613 doses have been administered so far in the country.
1,257,600 patients have recovered in the country while 652 patients are reported to be in critical condition
