Karachi : A fire broke out in a factory in the site area of Karachi early in the morning, as a result of which cloth worth millions of rupees was turned into a pile of ashes.
According to media report, A fire broke out in a textile factory in the site area at 6 am. The fire in one part spread to other parts of the factory in a few moments.
Flames and smoke could be seen from afar. As soon as the fire started, the workers came out of the building. Upon initial reports, four fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and tried to extinguish the fire, however, five more vehicles were called as soon as the fire intensified. Rangers also took part in the rescue operation.
The factory worker said that it was the last minute of the shipment but suddenly a fire broke out. Goods worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes but no casualties were reported.
Fire brigade personnel prevented the fire from spreading further, the staff is busy putting out the fire completely.
