Rawalpindi, (Parliament Time) : Jinnah Iqbal South Asian Plus Forum organized a free medical camp on Sunday to facilitate the resource less poor families who do not have access to quality treatment and diagnostic facilities in which more than 400 poor and deserving patients were provided free medicines in addition to the high standard diagnostic facilities.
The Medical Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Jamal Nasir, Chairman Pakistan Green Task Force while Rana Abdul Baqi, Chairman Jinnah Iqbal South Asian Plus Forum was present on the occasion to supervise and manage the arrangements of the camp. Leading Child Specialist of the Twin Cities Dr. Haseeb-ur-Rehman, Lady Dr. Rubina and Dr. Rabia, Senior Homoeopath Dr. Tariq Mahmood, Dr. Sabahat and well-known labs specialists and their teams were present at their respective counters. In addition to ultrasound and blood tests at the camp, all facilities for diagnosis, treatment advices and medicines were provided free of cost.
Inaugurating the camp, Dr. Jamal Nasir in his address paid tribute to Rana Abdul Baqi and his team and said that he would join them in the next medical camp to strengthen more this social service. He also admired that Rana Abdul Baqi always pay homage to the founders of Pakistan on their special days by practically serving the nation according to the vision and wish of Quaid and Iqbal.
Rana Abdul Baqi in his address said that the vision of the founders of Pakistan especially Quaid and Iqbal was to implement financial justice of Islam in independent Pakistan and no citizen should be deprived of basic facilities of education and health. “Jinnah Iqbal Forum work under the same vision and the special days of these personalities are celebrated by meeting the needs of deprived people”, he added.
