Lahore: Under the supervision of Governor Punjab’s wife Begum Perveen Sarwar, 12 more free medical camps were setup and after medical check up more than 1500 patients were given free medicines . Begum Perveen Sarwar also announced to set up more such Sarwar Foundation’s free medical camps at Shahkot, Sangla Hill and other places.According to the details, 12 more free medical camps were set up in the rural areas of Shahkot and Sangla Hill under the superviosn of Vice Chairperson Sarwar Foundation Begum Perveen Sarwar where specialist doctors gave free medicines to the patients after check up.Governor of Punjab’s wife Begum Perveen Sarwar while talking about free medical camps said that Provision of free basic health care to the people and provision of clean drinking water is the top priority of our organization for which we are focusing on different rural areas of Punjab along with urban areas where people are suffering from various diseases due to polluted drinking water and other reasons. Patients visiting our free medical camps are not charged for any check-up and all facilities including medicines are provided to them free of cost.Begum Perveen Sarwar said that Alhamdulillah Sarwar Foundation is the largest charitable organization which providing clean drinking water to the people through its filtration plants and at present we are providing clean drinking water to more than 2 million people daily in Punjab and other provinces of the country and there is no doubt that in areas where we provide clean drinking water to the people the residents of those areas suffer less from Hepatitis and other viral diseases.
