Lahore,(Parliament Times):The message of peace, love and friendship was promoted at the Interfaith Christmas colorful event organized by Youth Development Foundation YDF. The event was organized by Shahid Rehmat, Executive Director of Youth Development Foundation. Officials of the Punjab Department of Human Rights and Minority Affairs, Omar Hayat and representatives of Civil Society and religions notables participated. Me mbers Alumni belonging to different religions and office bearers of YDF also decorated a special Christmas tree in connection with the Christmas celebrations. YDF alumni from Muslim, Sikh and other faiths decorated the Christmas tree and hosted the Christian Fellows. On the eve of Christmas, a series of celebrations are underway to promote peace, love and unity around the world. Christian songs were also sung at the event and prayers were offered for the promotion of love, peace, development, stability and prosperity in Pakistan. On this occasion Santa also distributed gifts. Christmas cake was cut at the ceremony and best wishes were extended to all.
