ISLAMABAD, (Parliament Time) : The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that the holding of a meeting of OIC Foreign Ministers in Pakistan was a historic achievement and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran has successfully drawn the world’s attention towards the crisis in Afghanistan and Kashmir issue . Addressing a crowded press conference at Jammu and Kashmir House here on Monday he said the forces isolating Pakistan have themselves become isolated. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has also drawn the attention of the participants of the conference towards the unsolved Kashmir dispute which demonstrates his feelings and emotions for the Pakistani and Kashmiri people.. He said that an OIC meeting should also be convened on the Kashmir issue for resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute for establishing lasting peace in the region. He said The Prime Minister of Pakistan has projected the Kashmir issue in its true perspective at international level and invited the attention of the international community towards gruesome human right violations by the brute Indian forces on Kashmiri people in occupied Kashmir. He said India is bent upon to change the demography of the state and has also intensified the reign of terror in occupied Kashmir to suppress the freedom movement launched by the people of occupied Kashmir for attaining their internationally recognized right to self determinations. He said the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan were specially invited to the meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers. He said an in-camera meeting has also been held on the situation in Afghanistan. In response to a question he said being a Prime Minister of the base camp my responsibilities are more. He congratulated the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for highlighting the importance of the Kashmir issue during the OIC Foreign Ministers Conference. He said that humanity is dying of hunger while in occupied Kashmir the humanity is dying with bullets from the Indian army. The Prime Minister stressed the need for resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute for establishing peace and stability in the region. He said the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has not only highlighted the Kashmir issue in its true perspective but also the Palestine issue as well in the OIC Foreign Ministers conference. He said that the Kashmir issue is very important and it needs to be addressed for establishing durable and lasting peace in the region.
