ISLAMABAD,   (Parliament Times) : Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Member of Legislative Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir could not dampen the spirit of independence of Kashmiris. Worryingly, Kashmiris’ spirit of independence cannot be cooled by force. Kashmiris have not compromised on any option other than independence. Kashmiris have fought a long struggle for independence, our forefathers have made immense sacrifices, genocide of Kashmiri women, children, old people and especially youth is being carried out in occupied Kashmir even today. What is being done and they are being martyred which is strongly condemned. We call on the United Nations to immediately withdraw Indian troops from occupied Kashmir and give Kashmiris their basic right, the right to self-determination, so that Kashmiris can decide their own future. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of workers. He said that we stand by the side of the brothers of Occupied Kashmir. In Occupied Kashmir, Modi is trying to suppress Kashmiris through oppression but Kashmiris never bowed down to oppression and took their rights.
