Shining chapter of Journalism ended by death of Muhammad Zia-ud-Din: CPNE

KARACHI: The Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the demise of renowned journalist and senior editor Mr. Muhammad Zia-ud-Din. In a joint statement, CPNE Acting President Kazim Khan, Acting Secretary General Amir Mahmood and all the officials and members expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of senior journalist Mr. Muhammad Zia-ud-Din. May Allah Almighty grant him a place in the tide of mercy and grant patience to the mourners over this tragedy. In a condolence statement, the CPNE leaders paid homage to the services of Mr. Muhammad Zia-ud-Din and said that he was a shining chapter in the world of journalism and a school for junior journalists. The gap created in the field of journalism by his death will never be filled and his services will be remembered forever.
