There are many factors that can influence a person’s decision to commit suicide. The most common one is severe depression. Depression can make people feel great emotional pain and loss of hope making them unable to see another way to relieve the pain other than ending their own life. The second common factor is poverty. People are jobless, having no financially support. They can’t face inflation, so they try to end their lives. The third factor is academic pressure. Usually students get less marks in exams, so they will decide making suicide. Suicide is not a natural thing, it is manmade. Suicide is also condemned act in Islam. The views of suicide in Islam are very crystal clear. It is strictly forbidden. Surah Al-Nisa verse 29, it is directly quoted to say ” And don’t kill yourself (or one another). It is government responsibility to reduce suicide rate and risk factor for suicide. Such as poverty. Government should find strategies to save public lives.
