Gwadar district is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The name Gwadar originates from Gwat and Dar (Balochi). which means the door of air. Gwadar was notified as a separate district on 1 July 1977. The city of Gwadar is the district headquarter of Gwadar district. Gwadar’s total area Lenght is 12.637km² (4.879 sq mi) and in the time of the 2017 census, its population total= 263.514. Density= 21/km² (54/sq mi). Gwadar is a port city on the southwestern coast of Balochistan, Pakistan. The city is located on the shores of the Arabin sea opposite Oman. Gwadar was an overseas possession of Oman from 1783 to 1958 [²]. It is about 120km (75 mi) southwest of Turbat, white the sister port city of chabahar in Iran’s Sistan and Balochistan province is about 170km (110 mi) to the west of Gwada. Gwadar is a city which is famous in the overall world due to its beauty and port system. On the other hand, also Gwadar is famous for fishing. Fishing is a livelihood for the Gwadar people. Mostly 70% percent of people are fishing in the Gwadar sea for completing they are basic needs. That fishes which are taken by those people. The government buy the fishes from them and send them to other countries for selling. But nowadays due to chines and Pak China Economic Corridor project. Fishermen are very disturbed. They do not allow to go fishing. Whenever they go secretly then they will be captured by the bluejacket. They shatter their boats and beat the fishermen. The fishermen don’t know what they do. They allow two times a month for fishing. This time is very less for the people. By the way, I request with the government allow to fishermen for hunting fish, because they don’t have another way, they are very poor only this is the way government has to discuss with chines and solve this problem.
