RAWALPINDI, (Parliament Times) : Chief Executive Officer of Knight Human Management (KHM) Shalan & GL Pakistan Mr. Khalid Nawaz has said that the strong and stable future of Pakistan’s economy is associated with the development of latest technical skills and professional education.
He was addressing a special consultative workshop organized by the Institute of Audit, Accounts and Tax Training to highlight the need and importance of professional tax advisors. A large number of lawyers from the tax sector, representatives of Pakistan and Punjab Tax Bar Associations and students were present on the occasion.
Khalid Nawaz said that the government was striving hard to produce the maximum facilities of technical training but it alone could not bridge the gap between demand and supply. “Private sector must come up to add in these facilities coupled with low pricing of technical education and training to support the government efforts”, he added. He said that KHM and the Inter-Universities Consortium moved forward in this direction to introduce the latest skills among the students of degree classes. He also stressed the need to enhance the standard of training facilities in both public and private sector institutions so that our skilled manpower could compete with the others in the International job market.
“Pakistan’s skilled workforce can reduce poverty and unemployment by seeking decent employment in the global job market, as well as provide a strong foundation for the country’s economy”, he mentioned.
