Water is the basic essential source for a living thing. Without it lifes’ existence is impossible to stay. But unluckily, Pakistan is listed the first country where its most of population is facing water scarcity. Most of areas are utilizing dirty stagnant water, through which several people are confronting several hazardous diseases because of stagnant and dirty water. As it is well- known to all that without water no one lives. So the stagnant and dirty water which is not drinkable but people use it to eradicate their thirst. However, according to a report of Indus river system authority (IRSA) spokesman, “There are only two big reservoirs in the country. And we can store water just for 30 days”. The delay in construction of dems, water scarcity aroused dishormony among its four provinces. Recently, India is supplying water to many areas of the country. Moreover, the major cities of Balochistan lacks enough water for the residents. Mostly Gwadar is hit hardly by water scarcity in recent time. In the city, residents faced water scarcity and are marching from a long distance to carry water. The Government should take strict action regard the issue of water scarcity across the country. And construct more dams so that the challenge get rooted-out.
