FAISALABAD: Establishment of quality and globally well reputed educational institutes in Faisalabad is a positive step and Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) will encourage and cooperate with such organizations in the best interest of the city as well as Pakistan, said Atif Munir Sheikh President FCCI.
He was addressing a function in which a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between FCCI and The Millennium Universal College (TMUC).
Under this MoU, TMUC will offer subsidized admission and tuition fee for the children of FCCI members and staff. The two organizations will also use the logos of each other in their publicity campaigns with mutual consent.
Initially this MoU will be effective for a period of two years while its duration could be further enhanced.
Atif Munir Sheikh said that Faisalabad is facing acute shortage of quality living, education and health facilities however the TMUC will provide quality education to the students of this city. He also pointed out some missing facilities like play grounds etc in most of the private educational institutes.
Madam Warda head of the institute, signed the MoU on behalf of the director TMUC Amina Imtiaz. She said that TMUC is offering international level education so that our students could compete with the students of the developed countries. She further elaborated that currently we are offering education in business, law and fashion designing. “We have the best faculty available in the country”, she added.
During this meeting Shahid Ahmed Sheikh, Muhammad Azhar Chaudhry, Malik Abdul Jabbar, Shahid Mumtaz
Bajwa and Arif Ihsan Malik pinpointed some relevant issues.
Later, President Atif Munir Sheikh presented FCCI shield to Madam Warda Yousuf who also reciprocated by giving away a memento of TMUC to President FCCI.
Mr. Nabil Safdar Campus Manager and Mr. Farrukh Aftab Coordinator Faculty of Art and Design were also present during this ceremony.
