Hattar Industrialists Association seeks Government attention on prolonged issues

Rawalpindi,    (Parliament Times) : Even before the onset of winter, the suspension of gas supply to the industrial sector shut down hundreds of industries in the country’s largest industrial estate and put the sword of unemployment on the heads of thousands of workers. The government should provide alternative sources, allow manufacturers to import RLNG or reduce duties on furnace oil so that the wheel of industry continues to run. Chairman Hattar Industrialists Association Muhammad Ashiq told The Parliament Times that industries pay billions of rupees in taxes to the government annually but the government has never paid attention to their problems. Association leaders unanimously called for a high-level inquiry into the unannounced shutdown of gas, saying that on the one hand, there was talk of providing relief to industries and resolving their problems, but the ground realities were different. The war is being fought. When industries run, the economy will flourish and jobs will be created. The Prime Minister is requested to consider our demands.
