RAWALPINDI, (Parliament Times), (PR) : Mohammad Abdullah Hamid Gul, chairman of the Tehreek Jawanan Pakistan (TJP), admired the Cuban lady to take a bold stand against the massacre of Palestinians by the Israeli army in Gaza is commendable “The Cuban lady did something that none of the 57 Islamic countries dared to do. He said no matter how much it is praised, it is a slap in the face of the Muslim Ummah. We have become so weak that we cannot stand against the atrocities committed against ourselves while the economies of Europe and America are dependent on Muslims and Arabs. Our shoes are hitting our heads. He said when will come again Salh ud din Ayubi and conquere again Palestine and will free Bait ul Maqadus from the clutches of Israelis. He further said that what 57 countries could not do, Cuba did. When the Cuban envoy responded to Israel’s support for the Palestinians at the United Nations, Gul said that the Israeli envoy to the UN meeting was overwhelmed by the Cuban envoy. The participants also stood in silence and expressed solidarity. A courageous Cuban envoy called it irrelevant and said that the Israeli request for a minute’s silence was “irrelevant.” The Cuban envoy added that if there is to be silence, it must be done for the Palestinians who have been martyred by the Israeli army in Gaza and Israel. Saying this, the Cuban representative herself stood up and the rest of the participants in the meeting also stood up looking at her. Thus, a kind of resolution against Israel was condemned.
