IOK’s status change issue led to disturb South Asia: Recep


Islamabad ,(Parliament Times) : Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Altaf Ahmed Bhat welcomes President Recep Tayyib Erdogan’s stance on Kashmir issue at UNGA.

Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat in a statement issued here in Islamabad today has appreciated and welcomed the stance of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding resolution of Kashmir dispute as per UN Resolutions.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at 75th UNGA session said that ” We maintain our stance in favour of solving the ongoing problem in Kashmir for 74 years, through dialogue between the parties and within the framework of relevant United Nations resolutions.”

The Turkish leader said: “The Kashmir conflict, which is also key to the stability and peace in South Asia, is still a burning issue. Steps taken following the abolition of the special status of [occupied] Jammu and Kashmir further complicated the problem.”

Chairman JKSM Altaf Ahmed Bhat added that all the democratic countries at UN must take notice of Indian hegemony in South Asia, and the grave Human Rights Violations it is commiting in IIOJ&K.

Bhat added that resident Erdogan’s continuous support for Kashmir cause gives hope and encouragement to the besieged people of IIOJ&K.
