    DC Ali Shahzad visits Sadhaar Jhang market to inspect goods

    FAISALABAD,(Parliament Times): The Deputy Commissioner, Ali Shahzad visited the fruit and vegetable market Sadhaar Jhang road early in the morning and inspected the process of auction for different vegetables and fruits to ensure the quality, standard and prices. AC Sadar, Umar Maqbool, EADA M. usman, CEO FWMC Kashif Raza Awan and Officers of Market Committee were also present on the occasion. The Deputy Commissioner walked towards the different sheds and stalls where he checked the availability of vegetables and fruits.
    He directed the market committee staffers for regular monitoring of the auctions to discourage the unfair increase of prices of wholesale. He also inquired about the terms and conditions of the auctions and said that unjustified and outlaw prices hike could not be tolerated. He also interacted with the commission agents and shopkeepers and said that the district administration was very serious to control the prices of the essential items. He directed the staff of market committee for issuance of price lists immediately after the auctions. He asked the ACs to inspect the cold storage and go downs for assessing the availability of the different items and said that special measures must be taken for the supply in case of shortage any item. He went to farmer platform and checked the facilities and checked the record of Mandi App. He checked the cleanliness situation in the vegetable market and directed the CEO FWMC to make a necessary arrangements. He also checked the security arrangements. EADA and briefed about the auction process and prices of Potato, Tomatoes and Onion prices.
