London: Condolence programmes for resistance ICON against Indian occupation , Qaid e Hurriyat Shaheed Syed Ali Shah Geelani were held in different cities of UK , Denmark , Norway, Italy and Germany on the call of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK and Europe . Many Kashmirs and Pakistanis attended and remembered his life full of struggles for not only Kashmir but humanity as he was the voice for justice. Kashmiris and Pakistanis remembered his famous slogan hum Pakistani hain aur Pakistan humera hai with passion & determination to carry his wishes forward to fulfill his dream.
While addressing at a condolence reference of Geelani in Birmimgham , President Tehreek-e Kashmir UK Raja Fahim Kayani said that Syed Ali Shah Geelani was loved all over the world but UK has most of the Kashmiris after Kashmir which is divided between Azad Jammu and Kashmir & Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir . Syed Ali Shah Geelani spent his most life in prison or tried to unite the Kashmiris to gain freedom from India. Syed Ali Shah Geelani had been under house arrest for last 12 years . He was systematically murdered by the Indian government . We condemned the forced burial of Geelani by the Indian occupation forces against his last wishes, without his family present. An FIR was lodged against the family members of deceased Syed Ali Shah Geelani and others for raising pro freedom slogans and putting Pakistani flag on his body under draconian law Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 1967 (UAPA). The world needs to unite to sanction India its crimes against humanity & planned genocide in Kashmir.
Muhammad Ghalib President Tehreek-e-Kashmir Europe said, “Kashmiris are orphan now as Syed Ali Shah Geelani took care of all matters like a father being the leader of APHC for a long time in Kashmir. Geelani has left a legacy of unflinching commitment to the Kashmir cause”.
Adeel Ahmed Asi President Tehreek-e-Kashmir Denmark said that we’re all Syed Ali Shah Geelani now & will not rest till we don’t free Kashmir from India & it’s Draconian laws which control the breaths of the innocent Kashmiris. We Kashmiris promise Syed Ali Shah Geelani that we fulfil his dream to free Kashmir & become as part of Pakistan inshallah”.
The Director of TeK KIRC ,Khawajah Muhammad Suleman said “Modi is a replica of Hitler idealogy in 21st century and he has put Kashmir under brutal Indian army seige. Modi should be prosecuted for his crimes against the humanity or the world will suffer in future”.
Rehana Ali information Secretary TEK UK said, “India once again violated the Geneva Convention 1 of 1949 & Article 17 regarding burrying a body in accordance to their wishes, religion & nationality but seems India has sworn not to let any Shaheed die in peace in IOJK. They disrespected Syed Ali Shah Geelani Shaheed the most so this ritual of the occupional forced needs to be banned. UDHR’s need to make new laws so deceased can gain respect & peace after death”.
