CBRECHS alleges RDA for misusing power authority


Islamabad ,  (Parliament Times)  :   CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Society (CBRECHS) has termed the inclusion of CBR Town Phase II in the list of illegal housing schemes by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) as misleading and completely wrong and baseless

The spokesperson of CBRECHS With reference to CBR Town Phase II, said that the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) inclusion of a law-abiding society like CBR Town Phase II in the list of fake schemes is highly regrettable, the spokesperson also appealed to Chairman RDA and Director-General RDA to refute his press statement and correct the record.

The spokesperson said that CBR Housing Society Phase II has not only the NOC of RDA but also a joint agreement to implement RDA Vista Scheme, hence CBR Housing Society has a unique NOC and agreement with the Rawalpindi Development Authority from all other societies.

The spokesperson said that in the spirit of these basic and agreed points, such a press statement falls into the category of irresponsible behaviour of the RDA spokesperson.

CBR Town Phase II Block A, B, C, D, E are duly approved by RDA while for Block G, H, I, J, Prime Block, Abu Bakar Block, Omar Block, Usman Block, Ali Block all the necessary legal documents for acquittal have been submitted to the RDA for some time and are being processed by the RDA.

The spokesperson also said that CBR Town is a reputable name in the housing schemes of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, so the RDA should also ask its staff about the legal status of the project and its related submissions before compiling such lists. A careful statement about the paperwork should be issued. In this regard, we urge the RDA to rectify the list based on this error and issue a rebuttal statement and list. The Spokesperson added.

The spokesperson of CBR Housing Society has conveyed a message from the President of the Society Altaf Ahmed Bhat to all the members of the society to be satisfied and not to be disturbed by this statement of RDA based on a misunderstanding. It is demanded that this statement be refuted and amended soon so that the members of the society do not face any problem.
