PM AJK asks media to present water issues solutions

KOTLI/ MIRPUR  (AJK),   (Parliament Times) : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that the present government is determined to ensure the provision of justice to the people and to accelerate the tempo of developmental activities for the uplift of the people of Azad Kashmir.

Talking to media persons after attending a reception here on Wednesday, he said the problems being faced by the people of Kotli particularly the water issue will be addressed on priority basis. He urged the media persons to present proposals for the immediate solution of the water issue. He said the government is taking solid measures for the development and prosperity of the people of Azad Kashmir to bring the state on the road to progress and prosperity.

Referring to the grave situation obtaining in occupied Kashmir, the Prime Minister said that India has unleashed the war of terror in occupied Kashmir to suppress the freedom movement launched by the people of occupied Kashmir. The entire occupied Kashmir has been cordoned off by the Indian forces and daily lives of the people have become miserable. India has denied the access of the independent observer in occupied Kashmir and added that during the current year about 100 Kashmiri have been martyred by the brute Indian forces. He said despite using all means of repressions India has failed to break the will of the Kashmiri people and they will continue their struggle till the complete liberation of occupied Kashmir from India. The Prime Minister during his visit to Kotli visited the mazars of saints and offered Fateha . He also visited the Mithi Jhand to condole the deaths of two persons who were killed on 25th of July during elections of Azad Kashmir legislative Assembly. He announced financial assistance of five lac rupees each and assured that justice will be done and culprits will be given an exemplary punishment.
