Message of Foreign Awards winner Honorable Professor Shah Jehan


PESHAWAR,(Parliament Times):  According to a Global Times media report Prof.Shah Jehan, was born in Kalabat district Swabi.Did his Msc (Administrative Sciences) from Quaid-I Azam University Islamabad, went to Istanbul Turkey for higher education but left the Bogzaci (Basphorus) university because at that time political unrest. Joined Peshawar University in 1980 as a lecturer in department of Public Administration (MPA), In 1988 he left for USA, did his Master in Public Administration from Eastern Washington University, did his PhD from University of Hawaii. Also, taught at University of Hawaii. In 1998 he returned to Peshawar University. His dream was to establish a modern Management Institute. His team and the KP governor Gen. Iftikhar Hussain shah realized his dream.

The Institute now called Institute of Management Sciences (IMsc), 4th in ranking in Pakistan. Outside of Peshawar University he frequently delivered lectures on different topics in IBA (Pak), Germany, England, Thailand, Laos, India, China, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Visiting lectures to PAF (Pakistan Air Force) Pilots and related staff and Pakistan Provincial Services Academy. He is awarded as Honorary Professor at Sichwan University China. He retired in 2012 as Director IMS (Institute of Management Studies) Peshawar University, joined Iqra National University as Vice Chancellor. Message to Students: Look, today you are living in a very competitive world, in a fast pace of change in all fields of life. Your parents and country’s honor depends on you, don’t hesitate to ask question, may be you will not get an instant answer but there is an answer. You can never reverse time just make the best use of the available time today.
