AJK announces 03-day mourning over sad demise of elderly Kashmir freedom struggle supremo Syed Ali Gillani

MIRPUR(AJK),    (Parliament Times) : Expressing deepest sense of shock and grief over the sad demise of the eminent elderly front-line leader of the Kashmir Freedom Movement and Chief of Tehreek e Hurriyat Kashmir Syed Ali Gillani (Rehmat Ullah Alleh), Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir Thursday announced 03-day mourning across the liberated territory to mark the death of the highly respectable soul with great sorrow, it was officially announced.

According to an official notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department of AJK government on Thursday, national flags of Pakistan and AJK on all prominent private and Public sector buildings will remain at half mast during all three days of mourning to mark deep sense of shock and grief over the loss of this great asset of the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the Kashmir freedom movement.

Besides three-day mourning, AJK government had, late last night, announced public holiday across the liberated territory on Thursday – during which the national flags of Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir at all private and government-owned buildings remained at half mast on Thursday, the first day of the 03-day mourning session over the death of Gillani sahib in the liberated territory.
