ISLAMABAD: 5661 people tested positive while 60 people died due to corona virus during the last 24 hours in the country.
According to The National Command and Operation Centre’s (NCOC) statistics the tally of death toll has surged to 23635 while the total number of positive cases has touched the level of 1,053,660,
As per province-wise breakdown, the total number of cases in Sindh has reached 392,433, 146,485 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 360,494 in Punjab, 89,117 in Islamabad, 30,880 in Balochistan, 25,778 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 8,473 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
62,462 tests were taken and out of them 5661 came back positive. Positivity rate jumped to 9.06%. 952,616 patients have recovered.
