Janobi Wazistan: In order to establish a peaceful Muharram and Shia-Sunni brotherhood and maintain a peaceful atmosphere in Tank as well as across the country, a joint meeting of Shia and Sunni Ulema-e-Kram Line Department Army Police and journalists was held at Frontier Corps Sector Headquarters South Khatib Spain Masjid Tank Maulana Muhammad Siddique on behalf of Ahl-e-Sunnat. Pir Saleem Shah Maulana Khan Muhammad Ashraf Baloch and Hanif from the Shia community participated.
Frontier Corps Sector Commander South thanked all the scholars and said that Tank is a peaceful city.
Sectarianism has never been seen here. Sunni Shiites have been living here like brothers for years and value each other.
On the occasion of Muharram, the Pakistan Army and the people together demonstrate solidarity. And I hope that this time too you will have the support of all.
Shia scholars should ensure their scheduled routes and punctuality
Deputy Commissioner Tank Kabir Khan Afridi said that section 144 would be implemented in Muharram while load shedding would not be done. Shia and Sunni scholars and trustees of the Imambargah showed goodwill.
The scholars said that a perfect believer is one who does good to others. At the end of the meeting, Sector Commander South announced the setting up of a control room to provide information on militant elements and suspects, which would be set up jointly by the District Police Tank Frontier Corps and the Pakistan Army.
