Qur’an education compulsory in Punjab schools from 1st to 12th class.
Lahore: The teaching of Holy Qur’an from 1st to 12th class has been made compulsory in the schools of Punjab.
A statement issued by Punjab government, The Holy Qur’an as a subject will be taught from 1st to 12th grade.
According to the announcement, Nazra will be taught from Class 1 to Class 5, while from class 6 to 12 The Holy Qur’an will be taught with translation.
