Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as
under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 212400 cusecs and Outflows 135000
cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 35800 cusecs and Outflows 35800
cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 57600 cusecs and Outflows 10000
cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 107100 cusecs and Outflows 73800 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 161500 cusecs and Outflows 154000 cusecs,
Chashma: Inflows: 181000 cusecs and Outflows 180000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows
172700 cusecs and Outflows 151700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 43500 cusecs
and Outflows 27900 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 164900 cusecs and Outflows
121200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 126800 cusecs and Outflows 70300 cusecs
Kotri: Inflows 37600 cusecs and Outflows 600 cusecs.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1392 feet, present level 1497.60 feet,
maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.140 million acre feet
(MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1050 feet, present level 1182.15 feet,
maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.292 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 638.15 feet, present level 646.70 feet,
maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.176 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela, Jinnah and Chashma,
River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean
flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
