ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has contacted his Chinese counterpart Premier Li Keqiang and expressed profound grief and sorrow over loss of precious lives of Chinese nationals in Dasu incident besides assuring him of comprehensive investigation into the matter.
A statement issued here Friday from PM House said PM Imran Khan telephoned his Chinese counterpart and expressed heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives of Chinese nationals in Dasu dam staff bus incident . .
The PM held the government and people of Pakistan share the grief and pain of the bereaved families.
He underlined that the best possible medical facilities are being extended to injured Chinese nationals
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan and China have an iron clad friendship which has withstood the vicissitudes of time.
The Prime Minister assured that no effort would be spared to fully investigate the incident. He said security of Chinese nationals, workers, projects and institutions in Pakistan was the highest priority of the government.
He reiterated his resolve enemy forces will not be allowed to undermine Sino-Pak brotherly ties in future.
