AJK Civil Society Moves to Join Heads on Current Kashmir Situation,
MIRPUR [AJK], (Parliament Times) : Intellectual class representing diverse segments of the civil society of Azad Jammu Kashmir is all set to join heads at a day-long round table Kashmir Conference here on July 10 being held under the auspice of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples National Alliance [PNA], organizers have said.
“The conference will discuss and review historical Karachi Agreement, AJK interim constitution – Act-1974, forced Delhi-sponsored sinister act of August 05, 2019 revoking special status of the disputed Jammu Kashmir State and human rights situation in the Indian illegally occupied internationally-acknowledged disputed Jammu and Kashmir State’’, said Jammu and Kashmir Peoples National Alliance [PNA] Chaiman Zulfiqar Ahmed Raja Advocate while talking to media here on Friday.
The JKPNA chief was flanked by his associates including Kamran Beig Advocate, Spokesperson PNA Yaseen Anjum and Secretary Finance of the organization Sajjad Afzal Advocate on this occasion.
Raja continued the President of the Supreme Court Bar of Pakistan Abdul Lateef Afreedi Advocate will be the chief guest on this occasion.
He said that the conference would be comprising two sessions to be held in local hotel Jabeer including the inaugural session to be started at 10.00 in the morning and the second and concluding session to be opened at 3.00 p.m the same day before unveiling the joint declaration of the conference to be inked comprising the recommendations of the participants comprising retired judges, seasoned jurists, rights activists, senior journalists and politicians from various parts of the Jammu Kashmir State.
